  • Here are some common questions parents may have about the program, along with clear, helpful answers.

How many students will be in each session?
To ensure quality support and engagement, we cap the program at 16 students with a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:8. This allows for plenty of one-on-one teacher support while maintaining a fun and interactive group setting.

Can my child attend just one or two days instead of the full program?
The program is designed as a 3-day intensive, allowing children to build upon skills each day. You can, however, add the optional 4th day, where your child will showcase their project, receive additional practice, and extend their learning. Unfortunately, we do not offer single-day enrolments.

What happens on the optional 4th day?
The 4th day (April 11th) is an extension session for students who want extra practice, enrichment, or additional teacher support. This is particularly beneficial for children who need more confidence-building in reading and writing or those who want to refine their final project. We also hold a Project Showcase, where students present their work to their peers!

What literacy skills will my child develop?
Our program focuses on five key areas of literacy development

    • Reading Fluency – Improving reading speed, accuracy, and expression.

    • Writing Skills – Enhancing sentence structure, creativity, and storytelling.

    • Comprehension – Strengthening the ability to understand and engage with texts.

    • Vocabulary Expansion – Introducing new words to improve expression and understanding.

    • Speaking & Listening – Presenting their work to peers during the final project showcase.

How is the program different from tutoring?
Unlike traditional tutoring, this is an engaging, small-group intensive where students actively participate in literacy-focused activities such as games, discussions, and hands-on learning. Our interactive approach makes learning fun, social, and confidence-building while still providing individualised support.

    Who teaches the program?
The program is run by our two founders, Ellie and Marney, who are qualified, experienced primary school teachers specialising in literacy education. Students benefit from their expertise, small-group instruction, and personalised guidance.

Will my child receive personalised support?
Yes! While students work in small groups, our teachers provide targeted, one-on-one support throughout each session, ensuring individualised attention and encouragement.

How do I book a spot for my child?
Spots are strictly limited! You can register online now by clicking the button below.

What is the cancellation or refund policy?

We understand that sometimes plans change.

    • Cancellations made 7+ days before the program will receive a full refund.

    • Cancellations made within 7 days of the program will be reviewed and may incur a fee to cover costs.

What should my child bring to the program?
    Please pack:
A water bottle and a nut-free lunchbox for a brain break and snack. All learning materials will be provided.

    Will there be breaks?
Yes! We include short, structured breaks so children can recharge, enjoy a snack, and stay engaged.
